Hospitals are easing the burden on the healthcare system through clear visual communication.
Hospitals have a great deal of information to communicate to a highly diverse audience, including patients, doctors, specialists, and policymakers. For example, IJsselland Hospital has been using our animated videos for years to convey policies, processes, and procedures with crystal-clear clarity. From vision and policy to practical topics such as the Job Classification System, consent registration, capacity management, and the Tentative Discharge Date. It is precisely these topics—which are often complex and abstract—that become immediately understandable and compelling thanks to the power of visuals and sound.
The result:
• changes are better received
• There really is growing support
• Capacity is managed more intelligently
That immediately eases the pressure on healthcare providers. That’s why animations are indispensable in healthcare communication.

Directly measurable value
Every day, we see dozens of patients in our department. By providing them with information in advance or on the spot in the waiting room through a clear animated video on a screen or tablet, healthcare providers spend less time explaining things. This saves us an average of 10 minutes per patient—that’s over 780 hours a year!
The result?
Less workload and fewer misunderstandings thanks to better-informed patients. Animation provides us with immediately measurable value.

FAQ / Frequently Asked Questions:
We base our prices on two factors: the length of the animated video and the complexity of the project.
That’s why we’d like you to tell us a little about your project first. Then our creative team can properly evaluate your project and provide you with a suitable quote.
We’ve done a lot of research on market prices and where we stand compared to the competition. We believe we offer the very best value for your money. Our prices are generally lower than those of other animation agencies, and the quality of our work is higher than that of most of our competitors. Be sure to check out our portfolio and let the work speak for itself.
What you can count on from us is a seasoned creative team that always delivers high-quality, custom work. So no templates, no “just pick a character from our database,” and no standard animation packages.
Please contact us for a price estimate. Tell us a little about your project, send us a relevant animation example (whether or not it’s from our portfolio), and, if applicable, your available budget. We’ll work with you to find the best solution, and you’ll receive a price estimate in your inbox within one business day.
Of course, that depends on a few factors: how many revisions there will be, how quickly we can make changes (sometimes it has to go through a lot of people internally before we get feedback), and the scope of the project. On average, a one-minute (2D) animated video takes about 4 to 6 weeks to complete.
A fantastic cherry on top that we’re happy to offer all our clients—and what sets us apart from other studios—is that at IDS, you always receive all the designs we create for your animated video free of charge. You can use them however you like: for print materials, newsletters, your website—you name it.
To illustrate this, take a look at what we’ve developed for AG5 in recent years, in addition to several great animated videos.
Whether you already have a complete script or haven’t put a single word on paper yet, we’ll work with you every step of the way. With us, you always have a say in every step of the process, including the concept and script phases. Our copywriters will help you strike the right chord in your story. We can certainly conjure up a powerful piece of storytelling, but ultimately, you have to be happy with it, and of course, your target audience needs to feel engaged as well.
Together, we’re setting out on a journey toward a beautiful animated story that will keep you entertained for years to come.

Depending on the objective, an animation can be used across a variety of internal and external channels. Examples include the intranet, newsletters, or e-learning modules for employees. Or digital signage in waiting rooms and on internal TV screens, where you can reach a large audience in a short amount of time. The video can also be incorporated into presentations, meetings, or training sessions. And, of course, there’s always the option to use the animation externally, such as on the website or social media channels.
We’d be happy to advise and assist you in choosing the right channels and ensuring optimal distribution of the video both inside and outside the hospital.
On average, an animation in the healthcare sector works best when it is short and to the point, often around 1 minute long. Staff members have little time to watch long videos, and patients or visitors in a waiting room usually lose interest after a minute as well. This time limit forces you to clearly articulate the core of the story and omit unnecessary information.
At the same time, the more relevant the content is to the viewer, the longer it will hold their attention. For topics that are directly related to employees’ daily routines or work, a longer animation can therefore be highly effective—for example, in e-learning courses or training sessions.
The result: a clear message that sticks better. In a hospital setting, every second really counts.
Tip: Always choose the length that suits the purpose and the channel.
Absolutely. No problem. “¡Of course!” “But of course!”
We work with many native speakers, both for script translations for voice-overs and for subtitles. We also have many contacts among native voice-over professionals. We tailor the project entirely to your needs and objectives.
